Country meets City

I love the south. We have friendly smiles, country roads, and our own fashion trends. But sometimes a southern girl wants to put a little flare into her style! A lot of times in the past, I have been afraid to try new trends because our area is always just a little behind when it comes to fashion. I am here to tell you- since broadening my fashion horizons, I have gotten nothing but compliments. I think all of us just need a little confidence when it comes to fashion risks! You are beautiful and you should always feel confident in anything you wear. Let your personality shine through your outfits!

Remember the Snuggie? I never owned one, but they sure looked comfy. I'm a huge fan of snuggling up with a cozy backwards robe blanket in the fall, and this cardigan from Target is exactly like doing just that. The outside material is like a sweatshirt and the inside is super-soft faux shearling! And the best part? POCKETS! You can't beat it for the $30 price, and plus its really warm.

H&M is one of my favorite stores to shop recent trends without the high price commitment. But, they are also awesome for basics! This tank is one of my favorites because its long and covers the booty if you want to wear just leggings! I suggest one in every color. :)

I feel like my Steve Madden 'gorgeous' OTK boots are the perfect way to put some city into the country. Most people here in the South would expect riding boots or even cowboy boots with a shearling cardigan. Why not throw them for a loop and walk tall in these babies? If you get this particular pair (the less expensive dupe of these Stuart Weitzman ones), make sure to size a half size down. I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered the same, and they are a little large. I have since read several reviews saying they run a little big! I wore them in NYC though for a quick trip, and walked at least 2 miles in them. They held up beautifully and my feet weren't destroyed!

I am enjoying the cooler weather and ready for Thanksgiving! I am hoping to post a blog about 'what to pack' for a 4-5 day trip out of town. It's always been a struggle for me in the past and hopefully I can give some tips on how to streamline the process. Have a great week, loves! <3
