Today is an exciting day, ladies!! Style Collective kicked off their quarterly style challenge and the theme is "Summer Romance"! Every day from now until July 1, Style Collective sisters on IG and blogs will be posting details about how you can win DAILY prizes! Today's theme was off-the-shoulder! I may or may not have a huge addiction to off the shoulder tops and dresses this season. Seriously, its a problem. Off the shoulder is such a great way to look sexy but sophisticated; how to show a little skin without being provocative. Plus, everyone has great shoulders! Why not show them off this summer?!
My newest favorite clothing collection comes from Morning Lavender! It's the Summer in the Sun collection curated by one of Instagram's most known fashion bloggers, Kathleen from @Carriebradshawlied. (If you don't know Kathleen's style, go follow her immediately! She's amazing!) Morning Lavender's new collection is beautiful- EVERY piece is amazing. They are also very moderately priced and the quality is fantastic! I have a loooong wish list from the #CBLxML line, haha.
I paired this fabulous lemon top from CBLxML with my new Paige denim white crops! Paige is one of my favorite designer denim labels. and the best part about these?? I picked them up while on vacation in Dallas at the Nordstrom Rack for $60.00!!! If you know Paige and their quality, that is a STEAL! Always check your local discount stores for great deals. I am a huge sale seeker, and places like Nordstrom Rack (who also has an app for your iPhone for those who don't have one in their town) , TJ Maxx, Ross, and Dillards Clearance (etc) can have really great deals on otherwise expensive brands.
I didn't add many accessories with this outfit because of the bold pattern, but paired them with some simple brown wedges and a pair of cute gold statement earrings (currently on sale for $3.99 at HM.com!)

One thing I love about fashion is that you can be whoever you want to be according to your mood that day. Sometimes, I'm feelin' the boho vibe. Its cute, comfortable, and perfect for all those outdoor music festivals this summer!
One of my favorite boho brands is Free People. This tunic is one of theirs, and I love it. They have amazing pieces that will make you feel like sitting on a blanket in a wildflower field! Many of their tops require some layering, so I chose a lace bralette from aerie. Aerie has bralettes on sale most of the time and there are so many styles/colors to chose from.
OK ladies, so these shoes. OH my gosh. I was at the Mall at Green Hills in Nashville recently, and walked by a store called Freebird by Steven. I walked by it 2 more times before I decided to go in- and I am so glad I did! It's a spinoff of Steve Madden- amazing leather sandals and boots for men and women and they all have this destructed boho vibe. Amazing quality. I chose these because they just felt SO good on- you could walk miles in them. They only have one Freebird store on the east side of the US (the other two are in Utah), but they do sell online and in some select retailers. It's an investment- but so worth it!
